The Quartet forum, the United Nations, United States, Russia and European Union released a statement welcoming Israel’s latest round of concessions to the PA (Palestinian Authority).
In a statement released by Robert Danin, he confirmed “some of these steps are significant and should improve the economic and living conditions of the West Bank Palestinian population.”
Danin was equally pleased with the decision to permit tour buses into Beit Lechem, hoping it will renew the once popular tourist site. The Ministry of Tourism has also announced that 50 guides will be licensed to operate in the PA occupied municipality.
Earlier in the week, YWN-ISRAEL announced a series of comprehensive ‘good-will’ measures which in some areas result in compromised security for Israeli citizens.
