Knesset Votes To Continue Full Funding For Charedi Schools

yw story logo.jpgReported by INN: The Knesset is approving bills put forth by Yaakov Litzman (UTJ) and Yaakov Mergi (Shas) which ensure that Frum educational institutions will continue to receive government funding despite the fact that they do not teach subjects like mathematics, English and computers. The laws were approved with large majorities, despite Education Minister Yuli Tamir’s fierce opposition.

  1. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to teach Math? You can use examples from mishnah, gemorah, etc. about korbanos and maaser issues. Life will be more convenient with that knowledge. My grandkids in chinuch atzmai schools learn Math this way…

  2. They all teach math. There is no Cheder in Eretz Yisroel that doesn’t teach, Math, Hebrew Grammer & Jewish History. So B”H they will have some money & they won’t struggle with their budget.
