UN Chief Warns Netanyahu Israels UNRWA Law Violates International Law

UN Secretary-General Antnio Guterres sent a formal letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu, warning that Israels new law shutting down UNRWA, cutting off its utilities and banking, and allowing Israel to seize UNRWA property violates the UNs legal protections under international law, after the Knesset passed amendments to the law on December 29, 2025.
