Israel Approves New Negev Airport Near Nevatim

Israel’s cabinet approved a plan to build a supplementary international airport near Nevatim in the Negev, following a proposal by Benjamin Netanyahu.

•⁠ ⁠The airport would serve as an additional hub alongside Ben Gurion Airport, aiming to ease congestion and support long-term aviation growth.

•⁠ ⁠The project is expected to cost $7–10 billion, with construction estimated to take over a decade to complete.
