Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer is leaving the Trump administration to take a private-sector position, the White House announced.

•⁠ ⁠White House Communications Director Steven Cheung said Deputy Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling will serve as acting head of the department.

•⁠ ⁠Chavez-DeRemer has faced a Labor Department inspector general probe following allegations against her.
