Florida Rep. Daniel Webster announced Tuesday that he will not seek reelection in November, becoming the latest Republican lawmaker to retire ahead of this year’s midterm elections. Webster, who has served in Congress since 2011 after a long career in Florida politics, said the decision came after prayer and discussions with his wife, adding that he intends to “finish strong” through the end of his term.
