Following reports that Mossad chief David Barnea and Shin Bet chief David Zini recently visited the UAE amid growing security coordination and tensions surrounding Iran, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office now confirms that Netanyahu secretly visited the United Arab Emirates during the war with Iran and met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.

According to the statement, the visit led to a “historic breakthrough” in relations between Israel and the UAE.
