HAFGANOS IS JERUSALEM AND BEIT SHEMESH: Hundreds of protesters clashed with police Tuesday, blocking roads and disrupting light rail service as demonstrations continued over the draft issue.

According to police, protesters set dumpsters on fire, rolled them toward officers, and hurled rocks and other objects at police forces. Major traffic arteries and the Jerusalem light rail were also blocked.

Police and Border Police officers responded with crowd-control measures, pushing protesters back into nearby neighborhoods while reopening roads and restoring traffic flow.
