Following widespread outrage over police brutality at today’s Chareidi demonstration on Route 4 near Bnei Brak, Police Commissioner Danny Levy announced that officers who acted contrary to police regulations will face severe disciplinary action and be removed from operational duty.

Levy said senior commanders were present at the scene and stressed that he expects them to maintain control over such events.

In addition, the officer seen kicking one of the protesters has been suspended.
