Ramapo Police responded to a reports of a Carbon Monoxide Alarm activation at the Yedei Chesed group home located at 13 Albert Drive in Monsey. Monsey FD responded as well as Orange & Rockland Utilities and Hatzolah Ambulance. Two male residents, one 23 yrs old and one 36 yrs old, were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Hatzolah Ambulance for observation.

Orange & Rockland representatives on scene were investigating the cause of the high carbon dioxide readings recorded at the scene. Health department and Ramapo building department were notified.
