A teenager was shot and killed in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn late last night after police say he pointed a gun at officers. Investigators say just before 11:30 p.m., police noticed a group of young men in front of a building on East 52nd Street.
Police say Kimani Gray, 16, left the group after spotting the officers, and say he was adjusting his waistband and acting suspiciously.
Authorities say when the officers tried to approach Gray, he turned and pointed a gun at them, and then officers opened fire at him.
Gray, was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators recovered a .38 caliber revolver at the scene.
