Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver didn’t seem concerned that Republican mayoral candidate Joseph Lhota called for him to resign because of his admitted mishandling of the Lopez scandal.
“Desperate people say desperate things,” Silver told The Daily News, “especially desperate candidates.”
