Israel – Internet Stats


A TNS/Teleseker TIM Internet survey (June-July 2006) reveals that 52% of Israelis use the Internet for some purpose. Israel now has 3.7 million Internet users aged 13+, up from 3.4 million in June 2005. Of these, 73% of users go online at least once a day, up from 69% a year ago, which means that 2.7 million Israeli aged 13+ go on line daily.?

The number of Israeli Web surfers has also gone up: 37% of Israeli surf at least 15 hours a week, an increase from 31% in June 2005. The survey found that 71% of Jewish households have Internet access, of which 94% have either ADSL or cable broadband service, up from 91% in June 2005. Nearly all Internet users (95%) surf from home; 61% surf from other locations (work, school, Internet cafes.) <.font>
