  1. Or at least put out your cigarettes when you finish!
Criticizer……are you ok?? Maybe it is a lesson to the Yeshivos everywhere, that they should make a smoking room so something like this does not happen again!

  2. This isn’t the only reason. I recently found out that I have asthma I was coughing & coughing for a long time & till I found out what it was I’M sure that it’s from smokers. Why aren’t people more considerate for other & think of others & not smoke?!

  3. If the fire did break out from a cigarette then a KOL should go out to all yeshivos and Bais Hamedrashim that IT IS USSUR TO SMOKE ON PREMISES.
It happens to be a fact that my own Rosh Hayeshiva on the way to Shang Chai with the Mir from Europe was told that smoking was dangerous to his health and he threw out all his cigarettes into the Yam and has never smoked since then.
We should by now being in year 5767 somehow make a breakthrough to teach that SMOKING should be stopped
period .And specially by these 12 – 17 year olds that we see smoking – rachmona litzlon.

  4. It’s quite ashame that this had to occur during the week of their Rosh HaYeshiva’s, R’ A.L. Bakst, ZTZK’L, Yahrtzeit and before their Motzai Shabbos Melava Malka.

Actually my understanding is that the damage wasn’t so minor.

  5. Who said that it was because of a cigarette? Why are people starting rumors. Maybe the bochurim in that Yeshiva don’t even smoke. Whats with the criticizing? May we share only simchas. This is a very worthy tzedaka to give to just like the Yeshiva in Brooklyn that was a target for arson and had major damages was a worthy tzedaka to give to. To find out more about the story that happened in Brooklyn look in the Yated, Hamodia etc… this week because they have an ad in it encouraging everyone to give money. I am sure the gedolim also encourage everyone to give to these 2 Yeshivos.
