hasidic family.jpgArutz 7 is reporting that the Israeli government is expected to approve the establishment of a new Chareidi city sometime next week which will provide housing for the rapidly growing community. The city will be called “Kasif” & located in the vicinity of Beer Sheva in the Negev. The cities planners are hoping that it will provide housing for 20,000 Chareidi families.

  1. I’m with your himmelstein.
    What are chareidim, “trembling” about?
Why can’t there be a city in Israel for religious jews of all sorts and stripes? Visit Netanya, Raanana, PetachTivka and there are communities of frum, religious jews living, working, learning and associating together.

might be “city’s planners’ if that was the intended meaning.
however since “city planner” is an occupation and that is what was probably meant here, city planners would be more appropriate.
