VIDEO & PHOTOS: Thousands Attend Levayos Of Eli Schonbrun & Daniel King



Thousands of people attended the Levayos of Eli Schonbrun (16) and Daniel King (15), the two Bochrim who were R”L killed in a horrific crash, early Monday morning.

11 Bochrim were in the van returning to Yeshiva Ateres Shmuel in Waterbury, when it rolled down an embankment on the I-84 East between exits 2 and 3, in Danbury Connecticut.

Eli and Daniel were R”L pronounced dead at the scene. The others were treated for many different injuries. At least one boy is still hospitalized, but is in stable condition.

The Levaya for Eli Schonbrun was held at Shomrei Hachomos, and the Levaya for Daniel King was held at Shomrei Hadas.

  1. There was a lot of talk/comments I believe on this sight as well as onothers discussing, questioning, blaming, and seeking/giving reasons for what seems as a deluge of Tzaros falling on Klal Yisroel of late. I do not wish to minimize the necessity for Teshuva and mending our ways.
    I also do not wish to put blame, however I would suggest that considering the unquestionable, very troubling nature of the times we’re in & Tzaros we are facing, that perhaps need to be what may seem as more OVERCAUTIOUS and OLD FASHIONED in our rules and means of supervising our children and their comings, goings, and doings. An old famous advertisement, “Do you know where your children are?”. And by “YOU”, I mean both parents and school/yeshiva/seminary surpervisory personnel. We need to tighten up a bit on our liberalism!!!
