  1. Why are we supposed to listen? Is that how we will get the story in it’s absolutely true and unvarnished form? PULEEEZ. Thanks anyway. We know how to find his show or listen to his recorded shows. I’m not interested in being invited to listen to this troubled character by a website called Yeshiva World, ahem! He has long ago lost his enchanted relationship with the Jewish community. He’s long ago revealed himself as a course and grub character. But on the bright side, he is at least an equal-opportunity hater.

  2. 1)The schools need and use the Internet to file papers to the government. 2) Nobody is forbidding filtered Internet. They want to educate, bring then into society, and now they are criminal. When they won’t assimilate, they are bad. When they do assimilate, they are bad. Yidden. If we will separate ourselves, mutav. If we won’t, they will.

  3. Those who have listened to him over the years would agree that as time goes by he becomes more and more anti everything, liberal, left, whatever you want to call it. He used to be a pleasure to listen to, now it’s all dirty talk, never mind self-hating Jew Ron Kuby let’s not even go there.

  4. Nu we got what we deserved. You make a massive chilul Hashem and what? You expect people not to “slam” us?? We deserve to be slammed. We made our bed and now we have to lie in it.

  5. Yes, that makes him an anti-semite. During the time of the PEL grants, how many Catholic schools and other colleges were indicted Mr. Slewa????

  6. Shuali are you dumb this program is to teach children how to use computers nothing to do with staff or administration. These guys are so use to stealing funds they don’t see it wrong. And then there are fools like you that support them

  7. Let us hope there was no fraud, for even though fraud is not the worst crime, it is a crime and even worse if the people doing it are religious it is a chillul haShem which is considered one of the worst sins.

  8. @kollelfaker – The money is to obtain a server and wiring for Internet accessible computers for administrative and educational use (as I understand it – you can check it out). And as I pointed out, there is no issue, according to any of the poskim (yeshivish, litvish, chassidish), with whom I have spoken, for the students to learn how to use computers in a kosher manner. And for your information, when this program began, close to 15 years ago, the Internet was not what it is today, it was primarily used in schools to gain access to various on-line educational programs and government agencies for proper filing of numerous reports. Students did not need to log on nor, and even if they did, they had no independent access to sites other than the programs with which the computers were designed to be used. Currently, even if they have upgraded, filters can be, and probably were, installed, so his claim of hypocrisy is false. The fact no arrests have been made, and may not be, is reason enough for him not to have tried, sentenced, and executed the administrations before any wrong doing has been determined. He fights for rights and the American way. What about the innocent until proven guilty right?

  9. after reading all these comments pro and con, there is one point that i think we all can agree on: a chillul Hashem is wrong–plain and simple. even though the schools applying for this govt funding meant no harm and had nothing sinister in mind (let’s say), it still should not have been done since it does look a little suspicious especially after all the anti-internet asifas! when us yidden do things that even only look suspicious we are gulity of chillul Hashem. we have to conduct ourselves to a higher standard than the oomos ha-olom. who can disagree with that?

  10. Some of the comments here sound like they are coming from self-hating Jews! Is it a חילול השם to learn because the גוים don’t respect it?! Regarding the FBI investigation, Let’s Wake Up to the Sad Reality, we’re in גלות, a very hostile situation! I know of a very ערלעך Lawyer that was woken up to banging on his door by the FBI. Despite investigating and scrutizing, for months, his legal work to their dismay they couldn’t find anything to charge him with. The man is simply not the same person, after being put through that trauma. Yes even here in America, the מדינה של חסד, the Jewish people are Hated! The Only thing We can do is be באחדות and realize which side We are on.

  11. The American judicial system has as its adage that one is presumed innocent until proven guilty, yet in the opinion of way too many, one os guilty until he can prove his innocence especially when it relates to a chassidishe Yid.
As for Sliwa, he’s especially frustrated at Jews because of his stint with Melinda Katz and the difficulties he’s still dealing with over that failed relationship.
But, us Yidden, don’t we have a חיוב of being דן לכף זכות? How about all the דינים of לשון הרע, רכילות and מוציא שם רע?
    How have we so fallen?

  12. He is 100% correct. The problem is that we are quick to point out the fallacies and immoral behavior of others, but never of our own. That’s simply delusional behavior.
