Shas’ Kosel Bill Not Likely To Advance

1A new bill backed by Shas and Yahadut Hatorah seeking to set new stringent regulations into place for the Kosel is unlikely to move forward. The bill states persons not complying with new regulations would face up to six months imprisonment and a fine of up to NIS 10,000.

Senior coalition officials feel the bill will elicit the ire of Diaspora Jewry and therefore, it is unlikely to advance for doing so, would lead to a crisis between the government and Conservative and Reform Jewry.

  1. The world is upside down. Let us Jews have our Jewish land and our Jewish Kotel. Everyone is LAUGHING at us! Just in time for Chanukkah, you act like the Syrian-Greeks of old. We need another miracle, please Hashem! Save!Remove the detested instigators from the Holy Kotel!
