Hamas Terrorist Convicted by IDF Military Court

Hamas terrorist Ibrahim Hamed was convicted of no less than 46 counts of murder for his role in a number of terrorist attacks. The former commander of the Izzadin el-Kassam military squad of Hamas was apprehended by security forces in 2006.

He is linked to many attacks, including Kikar Tzion, Jerusalem (10 killed), Moment Caf�, Jerusalem (11 killed), Tzrifin shooting attack (9 killed), and Caf� Hillel, Jerusalem (7 killed).

Playing the martyr, the defense counsel told the court his client does not recognize its jurisdiction since the IDF military court if part of the �occupation army�.

The prosecutor is requesting 56 consecutive life sentences. The sentencing hearing is set for next week.
