Pipelines and transmission infrastructure at Israel’s largest oil refinery in Haifa were damaged in the Iranian missile attack on northern Israel late Motzei Shabos, the BAZAN group oil refinery company reported to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange on Sunday morning.

B’Chasdei Hashem, there are no reports of casualties in the attack. Bazan stated that despite the damage, the oil refining units are still operating.

However, several other facilities at the site are currently shut down due to the damage they sustained.

During the barrage of about 40 missiles on the Haifa area, one scored a direct hit on a three-level home in the nearby Arab city of Tamra, killing four women in the same family.

  1. Note to the editors:
I live in the area. the image you sent is of a very, VERY old refinery that is no longer in use for many years. the damage you see is of natural deterioration over time, it happened on its own a few years ago already. The actual refineries are much closer to Haifa center, adding to the seriousness…

You can perhaps note this fact in a simple subtitle under the picture so as not to misinform the public.

  2. @shlomieBoruch.
    The comment is disgusting??
When the torah says “anyone who desecrates shabbos shall be put to death”
    Is that disgusting as well?!
    On a side note…
Quote from the chason ish “anyone who doesn’t got bothered from shabbas desecration that itself is a desecration of shabbos!
We must be outspoken about our issues with the shabbos desecration!
Thank you for reading hope I gave you some clarification

  3. Heimisha guy and ChaimShalomDovBerYaakov, those who applaud Iranian successes, small as they might be, ought to be put to death and enjoy a special section in gehinnom.

  4. Again and again throughout Tanach it says that Hashem punishes sinners by means of the Nations of the world.
Is that applauding the Nations’ successes?
    Of course not.
They themselves were subsequently punished for having chosen to smite Israel.
