PM Netanyahu: Israel to Develop New Aircraft, Expand Air Force With F-35 and F-15 Deals

Prime Minister Netanyahu:

•⁠ ⁠“We will develop groundbreaking aircraft made in Israel — this will change the entire picture.”

•⁠ ⁠On drones: “A few weeks ago, I approved the establishment of a special project to counter the drone threat. Today, I will be presented with a progress report on the matter. It will take time, but we are on it.”

•⁠ ⁠At the same time, Israel has approved the purchase of two additional squadrons of F-35I and F-15IA fighter jets from the U.S., part of a broader effort to strengthen the Air Force following lessons from the recent war.
