
A U.S. delegation led by CIA Director John Ratcliffe met with senior Cuban officials in Havana on Thursday, according to the Cuban government.
• Cuban officials reportedly told the U.S. delegation that Cuba poses “no threat” to U.S. national security.
• Both sides also expressed interest in expanding cooperation between law enforcement agencies on mutual and regional security matters.
• The meeting comes as Cuba faces major unrest and rolling blackouts amid a U.S. fuel blockade that has worsened tensions between the two countries
