No matter what your opinion is about Chareidim serving in the IDF, or whether these protests are appropriate, one thing is a fact: You will never see Israeli police use this type of brutal violence against leftist protesters who shut down the Ayalon Highway as is seen in many confrontations with Chareidi demonstrators.
In the U.S., officers engaging in this type of police brutality would face investigations, criminal charges, and be stripped of their badges.
Calling someone Nazi (which is totally inappropriate), doesn’t give a police officer the right to punch a Yeshiva Bochur in the face, and put him in a choke-hold while a second officer assaults him.
