An organized burglary crew broke into the Hatzorfim luxury silver store in central Bnei Brak early Shabbos morning, stealing valuable merchandise before fleeing as a police patrol arrived at the scene.
The break-in occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. at the Hatzorfim branch near Warsaw Garden.
According to initial reports, several suspects—believed to be members of an organized Bedouin burglary ring—arrived by vehicle equipped with burglary tools. After forcing open the store’s entrance, they began emptying the display window of valuable silver items.
The burglars were unable to penetrate deeper into the store after a police patrol happened upon the scene during a routine patrol, causing the suspects to flee before completing the theft.
The incident, which was captured on the store’s security cameras, is the latest in a string of burglaries that has alarmed Bnei Brak residents and business owners.
Police have opened an investigation and are reviewing the surveillance footage in an effort to identify and apprehend the suspects.
Residents voiced growing frustration over the continued wave of break-ins, with many questioning the effectiveness of the city’s security measures.
“The burglars are driving into the heart of Bnei Brak on Friday night, smashing storefronts and escaping,” one resident said. “It’s time to restore security to our streets.”
