Anat Kamm Sentenced To 4.5 Years Imprisonment


Former IDF soldier Anat Kamm was convicted of taking and passing classified documents from an IDF office by the Tel Aviv District Court in February. Today, Sunday, 2 Cheshvan, she was sentenced to 54 months imprisonment for her crime.

The story dates back to 2010, when Kamm was a clerk in the office of the IDF Central District Commander, Major-General Yair Naveh. She was found guilty of taking 2,000 documents, classified information, and passing it to a Haaretz correspondent towards advancing her political agenda.

One of the original charges against her, compromising state security, was dropped.
