I have a couple of times. One time i went on a shidduch date at midnight for some interesting reason..there was no shaychus and i was falling asleep..i purposely lit up a cigarette.Other times i just said really stupid things…i still make sure she is comfortable and take her to eat if she wants i will just have fun if its not going to go anywhere.

Is she married? If she is single and older Shabbos sometimes isnt fun.She should get a husband be’ezer hashem and Shabbos will be spent with him not some random family feeling akward for her.

Every system has its goods and bads………The current yeshiva system of certain guys not marrying girls whose father cant support the to learn isnt a good thing for anybody.guys arent getting married and girls are just getting older.

Why should people have no money and food to put on their table? Why should their wives walk around looking shlumpy?

Learn and Work.Thats what the mishnah says. The gemara in Berachos also said lots did like Rav Shimon and didnt make it.

obviously its cool that theres like a million people learning..but sometimes people need to work when you have a family.

u never know what she is going to be like. They want you to commit no matter how easy going you are cuz sometimes the shidduch could be so out of wack that you wont. She could be really not attractive and you would say no even if u r easy going so they go u in no matter what.Good Luck.

maybe the chazon ish didnt say that but i heard it that way or it was the he wouldnt let bochurim in to see him who didnt have beards……….there is a story of a guy who’s wife didnt let him have a beard and the baba sali came to his wife in a dream and said that if you let him have a beard half of his sin will be forgiven….my point is not having a beard…..i know plenty of respectable people who dont have beards and i love them and they are mamash beautiful souls…..my problem is with rabbis telling bochurim not to have beards…i got kicked out of a very choshuve yeshiva for growing one and that the jewish world in general looks down at people following new paths….

it is true that i was judgemental about it and i only realized it to the fullest extent after i already posted it…………i really do love every jew even the people in ny that i grew up with and no i was never hurt and never went off the derech or anything like that………it just seems weird to me how american yeshivish judaism became one of the most class ranked sections in judaism…..i know even by chareidim it is kinda of the same……but why the heck is a guy with no beard learning in a chashuv yeshiva chashuv?he doesnt have a beard!!!!!!!!!the chazon ish would vomit when he saw bochurim without beards
