It says One can not Rebuke a Lets as they make everything into a joke.
For example smoking and drinking is Addictive and a chilul hashem.
In the yeshiva referenced some get DRUNK weekly and its Not Purim. Is this a college dorm or a Yeshiva? And smoking and second hand smoke according to All Medical profesionals is DANGEROUS to health and life, It SAYS in the TORAH Vshamartem Meod Al Nafshosaychem and VChai Bahem and Kal Yisroel Arayvim Zeh Lazeh, That means serious chilul Hashem and Dangerous behavior should be STOPPED by Hanhalah in yeshiva. It also WRONGFULLY endangers through second hand smoke and PEER PRESSURE

From the Surgeon Generals 2014 report on the Centers for Disease Control site

Every adult who dies early because of smoking is replaced by two new young smokers. If smoking continues at current rates, 5.6 millionโ€”or 1 out of every 13โ€”of todayโ€™s children willultimately die prematurely from a smoking-related illness

I myself use linkedin. But if some are opposed to even photos of tsnius ladirs how would they feel of videos? And if shmoozing a lot with single or married women or vice versa is at some ppoint (???????) Wrong is it same by “posting”? And many many posts are indeed Not just business. Please see my earlier posted examples. Just things to be aware of.

Linkedin may be an important tool for business but there are pitfalls and shailos. Like is posting how much to articles by other genders at what point may be “flirting”. And if it is appropriate to “love” a post by another gender. One also needs to consider everything one posts or likes is seen by all connections. For example I saw a sheiteled person like 2 posts that included nivul peh and another (maybe a mistake) that liked a post ending praising an avoda zara. It alsoa sks how much video posting by women to what point is not tzniut

As an example I just saw a video post on LInkedin by a Heimish looking man with a big beard while he is jogging in the park with a fellow Linkedin Female connection who is dressed in legging pants.
I am sure YAted Neeman would not publish the photo. (is it just me or are these not ideal – especially to post to the internet?)

Does It Seem Linkedin Has Turned Into the Facebook of Adults? Especially now with many Video Posts. I see even Heimish and Chassidish men and women posting and video posting on LInkedin often posting many times each day. There are even such “Parnassa Needed” posts as reflections on family life. Is this a Problem? Including Nashim making innocently many video posts on the internet?

In todays world with FEMALE dentists, dermatologists, lawyers, judges, CPAs, etc it doesnt make sense to code Female for low paying job. Also, some females may want higher paying jobs and some Males may settle for less as well. Not right to CUT them out automatically without a chance.

    A) Techincally when people interview in their MINDS they may be free to Discriminate and Not Hire. Regarding a Shomer Shabbos worker many other employers may feel if they can get someone there all the time as everyone else and not know Rosh Ahshana, Yom KIppur, Sukkos (5 days of yom tov), pesach (4 days of yom tov), shvuos (2 days) are automatically not available for work and the day before you need to leave early they may choose (for no Expressed reason) to Not Hire You .

B)I am Talking about non Jewish school teaching, non Negiah necessitating jobs. Jobs Yiddishe men need to support themselves and families!

This was copied and pasted fromm the Yshivaworld news web site of video taped Satmar camp activities on Tisha Bav

Thousands of boys from the Satmar camps in the Catskills gathered at the main campus in Napanoch NY, with smiling youngsters carrying homemade signs bearing messages such as โ€œIsraeli army is not for Jews.โ€ Rows upon rows of chairs were set up on the camp grounds, where a large stage was adorned with banners in English and Hebrew bashing the Israeli government including โ€œZionism = Brutalityโ€ and โ€œForced draft into the immoral Israel Army is nothing but an attempt to uproot our Judaism.โ€

The veteran director of the camp, Rabbi David Rosenberg, opened the event, explaining to the children that the first Satmar Rebbe ZATZAL said that every generation is obligated to continue the fight against Amalek.

Firstly, Especially as we read in the news of the crazy racists in Virginia that rallied against Jews and black people and anyone that is not a white protestant recently, of course I think its great when the numbers of Jews, especially frum Jews, grow. We need to rebuild. And most satmar yidden are wonderful fellow Jews and people.

My observation from seeing videos this year and last year of many hundreds of campers being indocitrinated to actually strongly protest in rallies against israel and the israeli defense forces in strong terms exactly as Neturei karts who openly join with moslems in anti Israel rallies.

As these numbers grow and as the ranks of moslems, and “progressives” grow as well the Pro Israel community seems to need a major growth spirt.
Indeed we have seen that now 1 of the 2 New York senators, Gilibrand, questions if Israel has a peace plan and if she will vote for the anti BDS bill in congress. Maybe being from Upstate NY she sees whats going on at Kiryas Yoel.

And regarding if they will ask if you were pro Israel. I think when the Gemara says what we will be asked – if you learnt Torah in set times, if you waited for the redemption, etc it DOES NOT say “Did you Kill?” Did you commit adultery?” Because that is OBVIOUSLY Wrong – Just as Betraying Millions of Jews, Chilul hashem and being Tifrosh from the Tsibur (to the degree of Endangering millions of them)

If You look at Videos in YESHIVAWORLD .COM you will see Satmar having Practice Anti Israel Demonstartions in Camp – Incouding on TISHA BAV!! (when it was SINAS CHINAM that destroyed the Bayis Shaini)
Many people happen to feel in the eyes of may chassidim they look at other frum as “Goyim”
In the article it claims they believe “tsionim” are AMALAIK. “tsionim” includes all soldiers – including the many thousands of frum! And millions of frum live and are physically protected by them in eretz yisroel where they are free to learn torah and daven and learn satmar! To say millions of YIDDEN are AMALYK is to say their Lives deserve to be eradicated! And INDEED in the video IT LOOKS LIKE SATMAR IS NETUREI KARTA!

baruch hashem for the growth of jewish from,,,but sadly it is a warning to us that we need to think what to do for Klal Yisroel particularly in Erets Yisroel, 7 MILLION, including religious and secular. We need to somehow get the Message Across to Decent UnBrainwashed embers of Satmar that it is BAD to join with Murderous enemies of millions of Jews – with Jewish blood on their hands or lusts – to protest to elected officials or provide encouragement to them Against Israel who are surrounded by enemies seeking to kill all the Yidden there!
Secondly, as we see what seem to be thousands of children being indoctrinated – to bolster all our own selves to come out in defense of the Security needs of Israel! Al Taamod Al Dam Rayacha – Im Ain Ani Li Mi Li – and Bimkom SheAin Ish Hishtadail Lihiyos Ish!

RebYidd23 I am not sure of your background. Not everyone has wealthy parents or can have both parents working. In my case I am the only breadwinner and work a complete full day and try some part time as well. Do yu know why when somneone was found dead near a city the city elders needed to say their hands did not shed this blood?! BECAUSE THE COMMUNITY IS RESPONSABLE FOR ALL ITS MEMBERS – PARTICULARLY those that cant afford it. At the same time I must say there are many Great Very Praiseworthy fine YIdden who are very kind and helpful to so may. I hope one day I may be zoche to be a little as kind as they are. Now for a Brooklyn frum yeshiva in Flatbush I am charged $650 for the lunches for one child.
I know for Public schools there is FREE lunch.

How can we say every yeshiva is utilizing whatever aid IS available from the government to help frum parents carry the burden when for example there can be free lunch and we are charged $650 per child?!? The public school population is eating “horrible food”??? THey also seem healthier.

Thank you for your response. I meantr if schools can have FREE Lunch paid by the government maybe we dont the added expense of Catered Lunch. And regarding school trips they NEVER CONSIDER ASKING THE PARENTS FOR A VOTE. And Kids feel peer envy when the SCHOOL says there will be a School Trip. I also meant maybe the better financially doing parents can take their child with them when they go to other countries or states several times a year or can buy them catered food at home. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ideally our community needs a “Town Hall”. There are families of different means in our lovely community. B”H we have people of means who help others tremendously beyond the call of duty in charity whether HAtsala or the poor or yeshivas. Then on the other end there are decent hard working financially struggling families. Besides Tuition for each child from nursery through 12th grade in the thousands there are Additional Undisucssed Fees Tagging Along As well! Each child ALSO needs to pay about $500 for CATERED LUNCH, about $500 for TRIPS susch as to other states or the country for a weekend or water rafting. (I understand there are many families that may travel several times a year to hotels across the country and trips to Europe and Israel a few times a year. IS the YESHIVA Catering to THEIR needs when they expect on top of tuition many hundreds more for the NEEDS of goging water rafting or snow tubing or camping during school season. In Europe or Israel or even 15 years ago in the USA did we have these added Expenses??? Who are the Yeshivas catering to? Is there not also CAMP EXPENSES families pay for in the summer as well???? Are the Yeshivas Really having in mind Affordability for EVERY JEWISH FAMILY???????? I WISH WE CAN HAVE A MEETING OR TOWN HALL. I am even willing to have “Working class family” Yeshivas for those that are Middle to Lower class families. THen the more well to do schools can even have trips to Israel and Switzerland.

I wanted to clarify I understand many Yeshivas and girls schools have tight budgets and its ashame we pay taxes for public schools while our schools dont get nearly as much funds for the nonReligous subjects and services of the schools. And of course our community has so many fine wonderful philanthropic parents , some who go to hotels and some who dont, ๐Ÿ˜‰ I was just anxious due to the pressing tuition issue personally for my family here in Brooklyn. I was concerned how we can financially manage it – not sure what more proof (if it matters even) one can bring beyond 1040’s or the like. As I also pointed out earlier in this thread – it seems at least perhaps by my boy and girls schools perhaps there can be more trimming of expenses. and sensitivity with trip plannings and the like. TO help bring down the burden on the struggling parents side.
