A President Biden or Harris can cause a lot of aggravation for Israel.

What “special tax breaks” is he talking about? Like capital gains treatment?
Remember: Whatever goodies the government is going to pass out all come with strings attached. Your freedom is at stake when you are dealing with Big Government politicians like Biden. Take a pass.

Question: To be yeshivish, do you have to attend a yeshiva (either now or in the past) or is wearing a black hat enough?

For the first time in years, I’m thinking of purchasing one or more guns for protecting my family and myself. Fortunately, I don’t live in a “blue state.”

The left really doesn’t want to get rid of the police. The plan is simple: Stop paying the current police personnel and replace them with left-wing loyalists police who will assist in putting conservatives out of business. The “new police” can then arrest conservatives on trumped-up charges and put these racists in political re-education camps just like in the old Soviet Union. The left means business! Be forewarned.

Dear Reb Eliezer: General Flynn (a three-star general) was bankrupted by legal fees paid to try to defend himself. He lost his house. Then he was threatened by Government prosecutors: Either plead guilty or we will go after your son.
What would you do, Reb, if the Government did that to you???????
The Logan Act: The Logan Act was passed in 1799. No one has ever been found guilty of violating the Logan Act. And no one has even been charged with violating the Logan Act since before the Civil War (1861-65). Logan Act maybe unconstitutional due to vagueness.

Finally, even if Flynn did lie to the Vice President, that is no crime.

Orthodox Jews should especially be wary of Bloomberg. Remember, do not forget, that Bloomberg was the guy behind NYC’s attempt to ban Metzizah B’ Peh . He is profoundly anti-Chareidi.

Bernie is a Marxist of some type. What does “democratic socialism” mean? He’s not going to define it for you. (The countries of Scandinavia are not socialist countries: They are market economies with large social safety nets that cost a ton of money.) Bernie only likes his own capitalism: Writing books and giving speeches for cash. He also says he has nothing against the mom-and-pop store down the street. It’s big business he hated: In other words, he hates really successful capitalism. He needs to be taken seriously because he is really dangerous, especially to all Jews and Israel! He is a modern day Leon Trotsky.

I voted for Romney for President in 2012 and also contributed to his campaign. Now I’m glad he lost. His current term in the US Senate isn’t up until 2024, and I doubt that he will run for re-election. He’s 72 now, and I think he will want to spend more time with his family, especially since he now has zero clout in the Senate Republican Caucus. Adios, Mitt.

It’s pathetic that this topic is even an issue to be discussed on an openly Orthodox web site. Hey guys, don’t you think that this web site is being accessed by our “friends” at RUOC and their ilk? Please, let’s not give them any ammunition in their anti-Semitic campaigns.

Please see my answer to the draft registration question. We need to follow the law. And it’s not just excessive speed—it’s stop-sign and red light running, illegal passing and turning, parking violations, you name it. Besides posing a danger to everyone on or near the public roads, how is our conduct viewed by the public at large—don’t we have enough trouble today with anti-Semitism that we have to give the Goyim another reason to hate us?

If the law requires registration, what is the question???? Orthodox Jews are not exempt from the laws of the land in which they live. Not traffic laws, not tax laws, not welfare fraud laws and not draft registration laws. To flout the law is a Chillul Hashem and promotes anti-Semitism, in my opinion.

in reply to: Are public displays of Frum support of Trump a safe thing? #1825076

I live in North Miami Beach. Public display of support for any Republican is dangerous. Bush, Romney, McCain, Trump, you name it. The Dems are a group of ruthless, power-hungry fanatics who will stop at nothing to get the absolute power that they dream of possessing. But, under no circumstances should we cower in fear in the face of the Dem’s intimidation tactics.
