when I wrote 10 million I meant what happens if the supporter pays all bills %100 of the org. so theres no need to raise money.

in reply to: CALLING gavra_at_work! #1084955

its much cheaper then 50K to make the Sheva brachos in a Simcha hall for a few hundred dollars & order the prepared food without a caterer

in reply to: Chareidi Engagement? #1085465

it seems with what you wrote that he was ready & proposed only because his rav says its normal to be nervous & therefore you can propose already. (even though he didn’t feel ready) which means he is still not in a relaxed mode for makin the decision to propose & nervous that anything can happen

Hope everything goes smooth & great at the end MAZEL TOV

in reply to: Difference between doing teshuva in old age vs youth #1084959

the sefer says that if a person says let me sin C”V & says I will do teshuva later can never do teshuva.

C”V if teshuva would be allowed then anyone can walk into a treife place & enjoy & then later do teshuva. but that’s never accepted

in reply to: Getting Wealthy from Mechalel Shabbos- What Happens? #1087861

you never make money on Shabbos. you THINK your making money but hes not.

his riches might be him getting his reward in this world instead of in the true future world of olam haba. due to now him being such a mechalel Shabbos for such a long time R”L

Tell him if he wants to do teshuva for his great sin (which is chayav death just for doing it one time on purpose) that he needs to give all his money to tzedaka & remove any benefit he still has from all those shabbosim of chillul Shabbos & then he still needs to do teshuva from the heart with fasting also.

    HATZLACHA

(its never too late to do teshuva, kings achav & menashe did teshuva after 30 years of sinning & causing klal yisroel to sin. & their teshuva was accepted why? because it was sincere teshuva)

in reply to: pogs & slammers in the popcorn #1085102

yes it has & is being played & collected by every kid in my neighborhood.

why aren’t the slammers muktza on Shabbos? they are magnetic? anyone have a honest halachic answer?

in reply to: Jews listening to non Jewish music #1121761

how many songs of todays generation from jewish singers are straight from the goyish singers with the words changed & they use jewish words?

These songs are pure rocken music with a goyish taam & are destroying yiddishkeit & the kedusha of klal yisroel R”L.

there’s a book someone put out of todays jewish music & what’s wrong with it & why it doesn’t belong in a jewish persons home or neshama

theres a Hebrew/English/Aramaic dictionary that Is sold in judaica stores. its a thick green volume

in reply to: Scary Mussaf Seder Recomendations #1087947

perhaps learn it out loud & think more deeply would help.

reading any book with your mouth leaves it in your memory & a part of you much longer then when a person reads a book with his eyes

its called hashgacha protis-Divine Providence. where Hashem is always with him & gives him unlimited Hatzlacha in certain parts of his life

Some Tzadikim & others are given Hatzlacha 24-7 & 100 percent of their lives

in reply to: The requirement for everyone to give Tochachah #1145248

too many of us today are too scared t o approach someone-in a nice manner of course-& give them tochacha to help them improve their mistakes. lest the person bear a grudge on him or stop liking him etc….

the business I used to be in involved people doing serious sins that heimesh & frum people should be aware of but weren’t. when I saw it happening I approached them nicely & spoke straight & to the point what the halacha is, without being afraid they might not want to hire me again. CAUSE STANDING UP FOR HASHEM COMES FIRST

    1) What can we learn from Birthday’s? Why did Hashem invent a day to celebrate a persons birth? There’s nothing wrong or goyish with having a birthday cake or party. The lesson we can learn is, that last year on this day i was 39, today i became 40. A complete year has just gone by. What have i accomplished during this time? Was my time spent wisely? (Wisely does not need to mean Learning & Davening etc.., going shopping & spending family quality time is also considered time spent wisely & actually very important to raise a happy & healthy family) Can I actually face Hashem now & say truthfully that I spent this past year wisely? Maybe we can learn that every minute counts & is so precious & now another full year is gone forever.

2)I don’t know about everyone else here, how often we think about our life, most people make an account of their life once a year-before Yom Kippur- Tzaddikim make an account once a month-before Yom kippur Kotton. I know a person that makes a account of his life almost everyday of his life. He told me this is the final last thing he thinks about almost every night AFTER saying Krias Shma al Hamita he makes an account thinking did i learn today, daven, give tzedaka, help another yid etc… is Hashem going to say to his Malachim i have Charata (pity) i gave this yid an extra day to live. How precious life is. Hashem doesn’t just say this yid will live to 98 this one to 108 & this one to 110, every day & hour is a gift from Hashem, U’vacharta B’chaim-you should choose life-lets learn this now while we are still young.

may Hashem help you appreciate every second of your life & may it never be taken for granted HATZLACHA

in reply to: Where is my Thank You Card? #1092166

    mammelle

” Postage stamps and Thank you cards are more expensive than people realize, and end up in the trash.”

do you know the difference between texting a thank you & sending them a personal thank you card? a personal card-rather thank you or birthday, anniversary etc…-comes with feeling & warmth & takes a minute or 2 to write while a text or a FB happy birthday takes a few seconds & is free but its not with truth & feeling & is forgotten the minute after its written.

How much times the amount would you value the difference between getting a personal birthday or thank you card versus a quick text or Facebook happy birthday? most people will say its worth more then 10 times the amount & its sent priceless with sincere love for the person.

If you or anyone for that matter knew what the olam Haemes is truly about (%100 spiritual, free of desires, no yetzer hara, being in the holy presence of Hashem & feeling it 24-7 etc…) you would look forward to completing your mission ASAP so you can head to the TRUE world above

i.e. this is why Hashem cannot reveal to anyone what his mission is in this world, cause if it was revealed then either the person would do it ASAP or he would avoid it forever so that he can remain in this physical world of pleasures forever.

in reply to: Famous Rebbetzin — Why Babies Cry #1081558

it all comes from a sefer. I just forgot which one.

Miritchka. that’s correct what you said, cause if the malach didn’t do it, then all our life we would be crying that we had to return to this world

in reply to: Famous Rebbetzin — Why Babies Cry #1081553

babies cry from the moment they are born cause of the loss that they had to return to this physical world to make up for a sin they did in their previous life. as they get older-week by week- they cry less due to Hashem removing from their memory any reminder of what it was like in the olam Haemes with the avos etc…

may we all be fortunate to complete our missions in this world ASAP so we can be taken to the only real & true world above with seeing & feeling Hashems presence 24-7

hold your siddur up very close to your eyes. & then you will not be distracted by the people around you 7 who they are what they do etc…

    in reply to: Why? #1076239

if every started with arvis. then when you would open it up in the morning you would feel very negative & only think about going back to sleep etc…

in reply to: did you know #1075630

the obvious answer is that the first case means you did the sin by mistake versus the second case means a person sinned C”V on purpose.

the way to resolve all this is for a person to constantly remember that hashem is watchim him/her 24-7. (in the beginning it might be hard to remember but one you get used to it then it will become a part of you & you will not even need to put effort into remembering) does it take effort to remember to daven? no but when a person is a kid & just starting out he needs to be reminded

Monsey & Lakewood also have takanos weddings & they don’t have rebbes with them to listen to & they go beautifully with all the savings they come with

and what about a caterer with his staff & chefs of goyim? they don’t call each other by last names. they are close to each other but only during work of course

in reply to: Advise Anyone? #1075900

    SL is so right

its happening cause your daughter feels that now your spending much less time with her & giving her much less attention which she dearly needs for a kid her age.

make time for each of them for personal attention & love

in reply to: did you know #1075628

did you know that all the mitzvos & aveiros of every person are also written down in shomayim in a book? from the numbers of each to the full info….

cause to most people they forget this & think they can fool Hashem when they are in private & constantly think that since no one is around them no one will ever find out. forgetting that Hashem himself-the king of kings- is watching each person 24-7

in reply to: Talking in Shul #1075637

focus on your davening a lot more with full kavanna.

cause when a person reaches DEEP into his davening s/he is total engrossed in it & nothing distracts her. all she can think about is what the words mean & asking hashem for whatever he needs are

what happens between a boss & workers? he shouldn’t call them by their first names? wouldn’t you be insulted if I called you man or lady come to my office in 5 minutes versus saying your first name?

in reply to: Getting married and no money #1087023

this is the way goyim do it. they wait until they both finish college & find a house to live & have enough money saved etc…

I work with lots of goyim at my job & they keep telling me the same thing, that for now they’re just staying friends…

in reply to: Could a Holocaust ever happen is the USA? #1083120

Why did WWII happen?all of us would be reform today, don’t start telling me these stories my grandfather learnt in ponovetz yeshiva hes still a ???? today. We would all be reform today it was just a matter of time Hashem had no choice but to do it. Before the 2 ??? ???? were destroyed there were only 2 choices what to do (& one of them wasn’t to put a hunger in the land) either kill out all jews or destroy the ??? ????? that was the only makeup for the sins we did then, if Hashem destroyed all the jews then Israel is not full of uncleanliness anymore, if the ??? ????? is destroyed then the holiness left the land & the jews can live (either both holy=no jews or both uncleanliness=no ??? ?????) Hashem had to destroy it we were too low in spirits & couldn’t be with it anymore.

in reply to: Why So Many Threads? #1074616

some of these threads should be sewn onto the agudah & some onto the obamanation to help deal with these serious & halachic issues that come up

in reply to: You're not doing it because you want to. #1074582

I only do things I want to do & I’m not embarrassed when my friends do something & I don’t do it.

don’t let your life be run & bossed around by others. You have the choice & are smart enough to make your own decisions what is best for you & your own family.

i.e. that’s why people are broke today. cause they feel peer pressure to have 3 cars with 3 vacations a year & then wonder why they go broke. live with what YOU NEED not with what YOU WANT.

in reply to: Mourning During the 3 Weeks, Do we Really Mean it? #882615

I see no reason why Hashem should give us back the ??? ?????. Hashem goes to one person sitting in this corner, he has beautiful children he already bought his house he has a car, he’s so happy hes not grieving over my ??? ????? thats 1 less person for my ??? ?????. The next person sitting at this corner of the world has beautiful children he loves to learn & has a rich Father-in-law supporting him he’s so happy hes not grieving over my ??? ????? thats 1 less person for my ??? ?????. what is Hashem saying to his Malachim? just look at my children down there look how happy they are i gave them everything cars, planes, computers, Electricity & phones Etc… forget if they are Makir Tov (Grateful) for everything i give them that is not today’s lesson, Let me leave my ??? ????? up in heaven with me when my children cry for it i will give it back to them, but right now look how happy they are. A perfect Mashal would be if a Principal in a Cheder took away a ball from a boy, because he was hitting people with it. If he went to the Principal & said i’m sorry i just want to have fun i won’t hit anyone with it. I give you my word he will give him his ball back. Do you think the Principal needs it? He already has a whole basket sitting in his office. Hashem is waiting for Klal Yisroel to wake up & do Teshuva, the gates of teshuva are never closed, the worst kings of Klal Yisroel did teshuva at the end of their lives, Achav & Menashe look at them, after 30 years of avoda zora Menashe cried out all the way from his heart for teshuva from Hashem & Hashem accepted it WHY? Because he really meant it. Hashem is waiting for Klal Yisroel to do Teshuva. Hashem is waiting for the day to put his presence back in this world & bring us back the Bais Hamikdosh but we just don’t seem to be ready.

in reply to: Shalom Rubashkin, a wake up call to us #1114234

Rubashkin told Rabbi Lipschitz from the Yated Ne’eman a few months ago. maybe i am in prison because klal yisroel has not gotten together as one. maybe i am hashem’s messenger to get all the jews together as one. cause thats what we need for mashiach to come. this is the case worldwide & now with Emannual in Israel & everyone going together to stand up for torah (a big kiddush hashem) now maybe mashiach can come.
