Her parents think that aspergers is a mental disorder and she should be in an asylum or at best a special needs school. She is fine, vwry high functual, barely can tell that she has it….its really sad, poor kid. I wish I could do something….
kid has friends, a social life, and very sweet…no one knows a thing. Doing great in school too….just moody at home and having problems with her family…

I know someone who was diagnosed with aspergers and her family treats her like she is mentally ill or something, she has to go to all the psychologists and they are always talking behind her back, and her mother wants to put her in a special needs school. She understands that she just thinks differently, but how can she explain that to her family?

/I heard that since when you sleep you are 1/16 dead that it is wrong to be in a holy place like a sukkah in that position, another reason why not everone sleeps there..

Me too, sometimes on line other people are online, specifically the CR, how many of you have looked behind your backs while posting on line and saw someone staring at you strangely, that was prpbobly me 😉

For some people who I felt needed to be called about a specific situation that was really bad or did stuff really bad or vise versa I did call. Alot of my friends dont have email, so I called, and most live overseas so thats just a really big pain to call everyone…..
but in general, i definetly agree, I dont have a cell anyway, which is a shock being a teen and all, and if i do get one evantually, thats one of the reasons I will he getting a kosherphone, too many teens get addicted to facebook and stuff which i dont even have, B”H

Be thankfull she is jewish and frum at least and hope that its from Shamayim, you cant dictate your friend’s life, maybe explain to your older kids that it wasnt the norm but everyone can make their own choices in life, even if you dont agree

BYM is COULD BE Very insecure and maybe has other problems that she did not want to mention, in any case some of these posts are lashon hara and we should not judge BYM and tell everyone what we think is wrong with her, Notice i wrote COULD BE and MAYBE because this is how it seems to me, and IF she is insecure, having us all talk about her on the internet and she having a bunch of strangers judge her isnt going to help.

I did a mass email, and before, i thought sincerely about every single person on the list and thought ‘do i really forgive them?’ B”h this year i did, this year my email was very sincere saying how were all older and cannot say we ‘forgive’ in one word like we did when we were little, i wrote that i forgave everyone, and i calked up people i have been fighting with for years and sincerely said im sorry and forgave, this year i was at peace with myself (concering any aveiros with friends, definetly not with hashem until after i davened) it depends what type of text /email /call you get, mine was 3-5 long parographs, and alot of my friends were surprised how sinsere i was…….
Why? Is it too emotionally or physically draining? Cuz the girl is just plain annoying? Or cuz she’s sinking and youre trying not to with her…..?
Maybe she needs you and you shouldnt end it in the 1st place…….
