The Lakewood Community will be graced with the visit of Hagoen Hagodol Harav Mordechai Gross Shlita. Harav Gross is the Gaived of Chanichei Hayeshivos and a mechaber of many seforim on Halacha and Machshava. He is a leading posek and thought after by many rabbonim and bnei torah for halacha and advice.
In addition Harav Gross travels to France almost monthly to mechanech dayanim and assist in the local communities. Harav Gross was requested by Hagoen Harav Eliyashev, Hagoen Harav Shteinman and Hagoen Harav Auerbach to visit Lakewood on behalf of Kupat Chazon Ish- Bais Avrohom.
A special Assifa is scheduled for this coming Sunday December 2nd 8:30 PM at Park Terrace. Harva Gross will address the oilam on the topic of “How to mechanich your children K’halacha”. In addition the Rosh Yeshiva, Harav Dovid Shustel Shlit”a will address the oilam as well as Harav Dovid Chaim Stern Shlit”a, the founder of the organization.

It would be more honorable to all Rabbonim and Poskim if the writer would use intelligible terms . There is no such position as a “gaived”, abbreviation for “Gaon Av Bes Din”. He is the “Av Bes Din”, which does not automatically crown someone as “Gaon” . Ge’onus is attained by the person himself, and does not come with the title.
