Maran HaGaon HaRav Aaron Leib Shteinman Shlita has not been to the Kosel for a number of years, until Thursday night the eve of 5 Tishrei 5773. The Rosh Yeshiva visited the Kosel after delivering a “Mussar Schmooze” at the Mirrer Yeshiva in Yerushalayim, as he does every year before Yom Kippur.

Was there some halachic reason for not visiting the kosel or was he simply in poor health and chose not to go?
