The Gerre Rebbe Shlita has canceled a planned visit to Europe. The decision was made a week ago due to the fighting in Gaza. The Rebbe was to leave after a grandson’s wedding, to Switzerland or France, including a Shabbos stay over, during which the Rebbe planned to host givirim who were expected to make sizable contributions to mosdos Gur.

Persons close to the Rebbe report that now, the Rebbe may host a Shabbos weekend towards helping mosdos of the chassidus but at present, a trip to Europe appears unlikely.
