YWN regrets to inform you of the sudden Petirah of Reb Chaim Cohen Z”L of Flatbush. He was 64.
R’ Chaim was at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas on Friday morning when he suffered a cardiac arrest. Hatzolah did everything they could to save his life, but he was unfortunately Niftar at Maimonides Hospital.
Reb Chaim was a long time Talmid and Mispallel of Mirrer Yeshiva.
He leaves behind a wife and children: Sarah Noble, Rivky Feld, Ruchi Glick, Leah Levin, Mimi Lapa, Yoel Cohen, Mutty Cohen, Daniel Cohen, Moshe Cohen, Elchonon Cohen.
The Levaya will take place Motzei Shabbos, December 9th at the Mirrer Yeshiva 7:45 PM.
The Kevura will place in Eretz Yisroel.

Such a special person. His son Elchonon is an icon at Mirrer yeshiva and a tzadik nistar.

The question i have is how do u know he is a nister if nister means hidden?
Any details about the levaya/kevurah in eretz yisroel?
