Jerusalem Street Closures For Belzer Chasunah On Wednesday

Jerusalem Police officials announce there will be street closures on Wednesday, 13 Sivan to accommodate the wedding of a grandchild of the Belzer Rebbe Shlita. Thousands of chassidim and other guests from around the world will be participating in the event.

Beginning at 2:30PM, streets heading to Kikar Belz will be closed to traffic. This includes:

  • Shamgar from Techeles Mordechai
  • Petach Tikvah from Zichron Yaakov
  • Divrei Chaim from Torah Chessed
  • Ohel Yehoshua from Minchas Yitzchak

Traffic police will be on hand to redirect motorists. Persons using public transportation are advised to contact the bus company. Live time updates will be available from Israel Police by dialing 110.

Magen David Adom Jerusalem officials have also been involved in the pre-chasenah briefings and will have personnel standing by.
