1. Will it cause ticket prices to fall (as in, is this a replacement for an air shuttle or the Amtrak Acela, or is it a replacement for Megabus or the “ride gemachs”).

2. Is this such a good idea that private investors will gladly invest their own money, or is this some “bright” idea to separate the taxpayers from their money, and divert government funding from things that might benefit most people (such as repair of existing infrastructure).
