A spokeswoman for the Supreme Court says Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been discharged from the hospital after cancer surgery.
Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg says Ginsburg left New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on Tuesday and is now “recuperating at home.”
Ginsburg underwent surgery Friday to remove two malignant growths in her left lung. Doctors say there is no evidence of any remaining disease.
Now 85, the justice has been treated for cancer two other times. Last month she cracked three ribs in a fall at the court. Despite her health problems, Ginsburg has never missed arguments.
The court next meets on Jan. 7.

May she have a speedy recovery.
Her case teaches that we cannot know what Hashem is up to. Usually, a fall and broken ribs is an absolutely terrible thing to happen to an 85 year old. But it was only because of that fall that her cancer was detected at an early enough stage that it was treatable with relatively minor surgery. We must always remember that Hashem is in charge of everything, always.
Only things left for her to do is to retire from Supreme Court and do trechuva. Each day this Marxist seats on the bench is a terrible day for America and Yiden.
They had found the tumors when she broke her ribs. Some time later it becomes public after they already said she is in good health. What else are they hiding? The מלאך המוות never forgot anybody.
