TONIGHT: Lecture on Parenting by R’ Goldwasser & R’ Horowitz


On Wednesday night, May 21st, Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser and Rabbi Yakov Horowitz will be speaking on the topic of “Raising Today’s Children for Tomorrow’s World.” The dynamic Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser, Rav of Khal Bais Yitzchok is a noted Torah personality, author and speaker. He will be joined by Rabbi Yakov Horowitz – the Menahel of Yeshiva Darchei Noam of Monsey and Director of Project YES and author of the newly released Living & Parenting: A Down-to-Earth Guide.

The lecture event will take place at Congregation Ahi Ezer, 1885 Ocean Parkway, corner Avenue S. Doors will open at 7:30pm and speakers begin at 8pm.  Light refreshments will be served. There will also be a short video of Rav Matisyahu Solomon, shlita, Mashgiach of BMG Lakewood. It will feature his address at the recent International Kiruv Conference which took place in Eretz Yisroel.

This lecture event will also be broadcast live via satellite to participating TCN sites nationwide.

  1. I hope they will address the issue of mothers working out of the house for LONG hours when they have babies. How can one be a good mother if she does not have the opportunity to parent her child except for four or so hours at the end of the day (when she has other distractions to deal with besides her young children)? They say that a child’s first five years of life are the formative years that will determine their nature. It is a very sad that so many mothers today are not the ones raising their children. You need both “quality” and “quantity.”
