Doctors report that former chief rabbi, Rav Mordechai Eliyahu�s condition has taken a slight change for the worse and he is now listed in serious condition. He remains in Yerushalayim�s Shaare Zedek Medical Center, comatose, on life support.

As a result, the Rav Shlita will undergo a surgical procedure on Wednesday which doctors hope will improve his condition.

The tzibur is requested to say tehillim for the Rav, 79, Mordechai Tzemach ben Mazel Tov. A special tefilla will be held in Yerushalayim on Wednesday morning at 10:00AM at the kever of the Chid�a in Har Menuchos.
