A horrific crash on the Palisades Parkway on motzei shabbos claimed the life of one person and seriously hurt another.
New York State Police say the accident, which occurred in Haverstraw south of Exit 14, left one of the vehicles involved in the MVA split in half in the center median.
Rockland Hatzolah were on the scene along with EME and other emergency personnel.
The fatal accident is the second in the North Rockland area in just the past three days.
Chevra Kaddisha services were not needed in this tragic incident.

If the Chevra Kadisha weren’t needed, then why report on it?
So we should remember to drive carefully.
In other words, the dead guy is a goy. Hatzalah was needed because the live guy whonwas injured was a Yid.

Some comments seem rather naive.
Hatzalah is an EMS agency, I doubt they ask the religious affiliation of the patient prior to responding or even while treating them.
It seems that their faster response time and the resources available to them, they can just manage a scene like this better than other smaller EMS agencies.
I’m not sure about the specifics and why Hatzalah was activated, but they dont ask or care about the religion of their patients, thats absurd.
They did the right thing.

Imagine for a moment, if a Christian website would report an accident where a Jewish person was killed.
And one of the commentators, asked if the victim wasn’t christian and only a jew, then why report it.
