BLABBER-IN-CHIEF: Trump Gave Top Secret Military Info To Australian Billionaire

Former President Donald Trump is under scrutiny for allegedly discussing confidential details about U.S. nuclear submarines with Anthony Pratt, an Australian billionaire and Mar-a-Lago Club member. This information was subsequently shared with multiple individuals, including foreign officials and journalists, according to ABC News.

This potential security breach came to light during special counsel Jack Smith’s ongoing probe into Trump’s supposed accumulation of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. The revelations may have implications for how Trump managed confidential government data after his presidency.

U.S.-based Pratt Industries owner Anthony Pratt recalled an April 2021 meeting with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, where he initiated a conversation about the U.S. submarine fleet. According to sources citing Pratt, Trump divulged two critical pieces of information: the alleged number of nuclear warheads carried by the submarines and how close they could get to Russian submarines without being detected.

Subsequent to this meeting, Pratt communicated these details to at least 45 individuals, encompassing journalists, his employees, Australian officials, and former prime ministers, according to the report.

While Pratt remains uncertain whether Trump’s disclosures were factual or mere exaggeration, investigators urged him not to disseminate the specifics further, hinting at their sensitive nature.

It remains unclear if Trump’s information was factual. However, another witness, a former Mar-a-Lago employee, confirmed overhearing Pratt relay some details moments after his meeting with the former president. This witness expressed shock at Trump’s supposed revelation of such sensitive data to a non-U.S. national.

Pratt said that Trump did not share any official documents during their interactions at Mar-a-Lago and told investigators that he shared the information from his meeting with Trump to demonstrate his advocacy for Australia’s interests with the U.S. Some Australian officials, informed by Pratt, were reportedly involved in negotiations with the Biden administration about a submarine purchase deal.

While Australia has now agreed to buy three Virginia-class nuclear-powered submarines, President Joe Biden has confirmed that none will carry nuclear weapons.

The June indictment against Trump, which charged him with retaining national defense information unlawfully, made no mention of this alleged conversation with Pratt.

A Trump spokesperson criticized the report, saying, “President Trump did nothing wrong, always insisted on truth and transparency, and acted according to the law.”

Trump rival Chris Christie weighed in on the report on Thursday night during an interview with CNN.

“It just shows you how unfit he is for the presidency,” Christie said. “This is him though. He wants to show off. He wants to make himself seem important. It’s not enough for him to have been the former president.”
