A 43-year-old man was pronounced dead Thursday morning after a wall collapsed at the shuttered T Fusion Kosher Steakhouse, located at the corner of East 33rd Street and Quentin Road in Flatbush.
FDNY firefighters and emergency personnel rushed to the scene, with EMS transporting the victim, who was in traumatic arrest, to Brookdale Hospital. The patient was pronounced deceased a short time later.
According to the FDNY, threw workers were installing new refrigeration units at the rear of the building’s first floor when the roof collapsed, pinning one of them under a thick concrete slab.
Sources tell YWN that the steakhouse has been closed for several months. The building was apparently in the process of being sold, and possible construction work may have been underway when the collapse occurred.
The NYC Department of Buildings is investigating the incident alongside emergency crews.

That place went through so many hands in the past few years! It still has the TT sign from when it was Table for Two.
The headline should be altered.
