The calm before the storm is the best way to describe Friday’s weather. A major Nor’easter will be impacting the NYC region starting late Motzei Shabbos possibly lasting through the middle of next week. The brunt of the storm will be hitting on Sunday.
National Weather Service:
A significant, possibly MAJOR, Nor’Easter will affect the Tri-State region on Sunday into early next week. A variety of hazardous weather is possible including, flooding rains, damaging high winds and coastal flooding of the severity that has not been seen in many years. Wintery precipitation is also possible…especially inland.
