Lod residents have announced a strike of a taxi company in the city after Arabs from the city were viewed on television celebrating the release of terrorists during the recent Gilad Shalit prisoner release deal. The story made its way to Facebook, and as a result, Arab drivers from the company are now looking for work as residents prefer to take their business elsewhere.

The largest taxi company in the racially mixed city is basically without work as residents have decided to search for Jewish drivers only, unwilling to support those drivers who found reason for celebration as 1,027 heinous terrorists walked out free in the deal.

The messages began circulating on Facebook, including “don’t be embarrassed to ask” and “I only take a Jewish cab” as the organizers successfully launched the move in Lod.
