Seeking to avoid additional conflict, the chareidi tzibur was urged to avoid mehadrin bus lines on Sunday afternoon, as was reported by YWN-ISRAEL.
While dozens of people took part in the operation on Sunday evening to board mehadrin buses and ignore gender separation in an act of protest, there were no scuffles or confrontations and the anticipated “thousands” did not take part as organizers indicated would be the case.
A number of activists boarded a number 40 bus in the Ramot area of the capital and did their best to provoke an incident, but they were unsuccessful as riders simply ignored their actions.
One participant told the media that he is not seeking to provoke anger or an incident, but he simply wishes to make a point, that the frum tzibur cannot dictate lifestyle for him and his companions. Kikar Shabbat reports that he says he does not wish to offend anyone, or enter anyone’s home and there is absolutely no hate for chareidim or the lifestyle of the community, simply a message to “live and let live”.

How is someone boarding a chareidi bus to try and tell chareidim that they must sit together with women, not caller attempting to dictate to them how to live?
Its like in America where only the perverted are allowed to have rights.

BH their ugly provocation was a total flop, nobody even gave them the minimal attention of looking at them, some tried to strip off some clothing to get some “action” and attention, others were singing, but it all went to deaf ears, and reamined hanging in the ear.

Mark…you seem to have it backwards. The perverted ones are those such as yourself and others who distort daas torah by insisting there is some halachic requirment to separate the genders on a bus or train. It was never the practice to separate genders in the alte heim when our parents and grandparents would ride the trains seated together. Even rav Moshe, Z’tl, paskind it was OK for men and women to ride the subways together to get to and from work. If you have an issue riding together with a woman, than get some assistance with your issues.
The attacks on Jews in Europe continue to grow, be more numerous and more vicious.
It should be a wake up call to us here in the ‘medina shel chesed’ that has an economy that is collapsing.
