Tnuva Workers Target Cottage Cheese in Labor Dispute

Taking an example from the social justice strike leaders, employees of Tnuva, the nation’s largest dairy, on motzei Shabbos refused to deliver cottage cheese to stores around the country in an act of protest related to their grievances regarding employment conditions.

The workers’ labor union has sent a letter of demands to management demanding a raise as well as a guarantee that employees will not be fired in the near future.

For Tnuva, which is just emerging from the summer’s cottage cheese strike is unwilling to comment on the issues at hand, explaining the company is not in the habit of handling labor negotiations via the media.

According to reports, the company’s annual profits have dropped about 17% since the start of the cottage cheese protests, now reported to be 428 million NIS.
