With bein hazmanim upon us some bochrim use the spring weather to enjoy a pre-yomtov hike in a nature reserve or wadi. Such was the case on Sunday, 9 Nissan 5772, but that day trip was marred when the bochrim were attacked by a number of Arabs.

One of the participants in the trip explains when they arrived at the wadi they saw a group of Druse youths. �When we got into the water they began throwing rocks and cursing us. They stopped when an adult arrived and admonished them�.

Well, they thought it ended there but when they returned to their vehicle they found the tires had been punctured. They summoned police, which did not arrive for two hours. �One of the policemen told us there is no doubt this is an anti-Semitic attack�.

The boys pointed out that their vehicle was the only one that was targeted. He added that when they arrived in the parking area, a Druse youth shouted �be careful. There are snakes in the water that only go after Jews. Now it is clear what he meant�.
