Deri Signals He Supports Bill To Open The Kevarim Of Yemenite Children


Shas party leader Aryeh Deri on Sunday announced he will back a bill authorized by MK (Likud) Nurit Koren on the matter of exhuming graves belonging to a Yemenite children for the purpose of taking DNA as efforts continue to determine family ties.

This is a bill that seeks to establish a unique procedure in the Family Court to issue an order to open the graves of immigrant minors from Yemen, the East and the Balkans for the purpose of genetic testing for family ties.

Minister Deri: “We must investigate in any way the claims made by immigrant families during the period of the establishment of the nation about their children who disappeared. We must deal with this painful wound and do everything possible in order to arrive at the truth ”

  1. First there is ther concern of two people marrying that are forbidden to marry, a grave sin with irreversible damage.

    Also, we should uncover the truth about the horrifying things that were done to these families and not be afraid of making our heroe.
