IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz in his statements Wednesday, ahead of Rosh Hashanah stated the threats facing Israel today are complicated, demanding an unprecedented level of preparedness.

Speaking at a military memorial service, the IDF commander explained the situation today is complicated, and everything possible is being done to achieve a level of preparedness in line with the threats facing Israel today.

In recent statements to the media, the commander stated the IDF has reached a preparedness level never known in the past, and he warns Israel�s enemies �not to test the IDF� for if they do, �the response will be beyond anything they could have imagined�.
