27 avreichim have been summoned by police for questioning in the investigation of a Jerusalem psychiatrist who allegedly sold medical opinions to avreichim to permit them to obtain a psychiatric discharge from the IDF.

Police phoned the avreichim and instructed them to report to the police station without providing details. When they arrived they learned of the case against the psychiatrist and it appears their draft deferments may no longer be honored. They may also face criminal prosecution for their actions.

It appears that some of those brought in for questioning are not learning in a kollel but they are working.
